Butterfly House

Butterflies love the sun and flowers. Provide a place for them to seek shelter during wet, rainy or windy weather. This house is easy for butterflies to enter through the six slotted openings in the front. To encourage butterflies to use your house, add dry leaves and sticks for them to cling to and consider adding a piece of banana or other fruit. Hang in your flower garden or use a 3/4 inch stake or copper pipe(not included) that fits in the openings created in the bottom. We include instructions(on our website madebyveterans.net) on how to fasten the stake to secure the house. Roof measures 6 x 6 inch and the house is 24 inches tall. As you can tell from the pictures, each house is original with its own basic paint color and hand painted flower designs to make butterflies feel welcome. Usually the one pictured in the feature slot is the one available but don't hesitate to ask for current houses available. We will be adding houses with different pastel colors as background including green, blue, yellow, pink and purple so if you want a different color just let us know when ordering. We will show one of each on site as they become available.

*We have had several questions about how long the colors and flowers will last. We use PPG outdoor paint and seal each one with Marine grade UV protection varnish.
